Q:To what pool should I mine?

We recommend Antpool, Eliguis, Ghash and Slush. Although you may choose whatever pool you choose though.


Q: How do I purchase hosting or sign up for the Hassle Free Program?

Please email orders to tim.mandell@geneseo.com with the following information.

  • Length of time you wish to host (6 Month Minimum) (Let us know if you want a shorter term, we are flexible and are willing to hash a deal!)
  • Type of equipment and number of units
  • If your machine will need to be configured, to what pool URL and worker name(s) you'd like to use
  • A valid bitcoin mining address
  • Your return shipping address
  • a vaild phone number

Q: Are there any hidden fee's in the pricing?

Q: Do you use 120volt or 208volt to supply your miners?

We use 208volt 3 phase redundant power feeds


Q: Can I overclock my miners?

No. If you ship your miner to us with the overclock on, please let us know and we will set it back to default. Overclocking voids manufacturer warranty and can cause damage to your hardware. Additionally overclocking increases power draw and heat. Our pricing model is simple and straightforward so you can know what to expect every month


Q: Will I be able to access my miner remotely?

We will use IP Port Forwarding to make the web interface available for your miner directly available to you. You can access your miner(s) by visting the URL we provide to you. We are currently in the process of designing our own web login portal.


Q: What if I want or need to power cycle my miner?

Please send an email to tim.mandell@geneseo.com or call 309-945-4570 from 8am to 5pm CST. Provide the following information: Your name, Miner Type, Port Number we assinged to you, and worker name. *Machines that require a a hard reboot more than 4 times per week will be taken off the network, trouble shot to the best of our ability and then returned at the expense of the owner if the miner is unable to be fixed


Terms and Conditions

All equipment will be billed at the manufacturers power specifications including the expected discrepancy if applicable. GPU rigs will be metered for power consumption prior to installation.

Wood frames will no longer be allowed. If you are in need of a metal frame please contact us.

A flat assembly fee of $100 will be charged for building a GPU rig.

Linux based mining platforms are preferred.

ColoHub has the right to refuse hosting of any equipment that is in poor condition or becomes problematic.

ColoHub staff does not perform firmware upgrades, hardware modifications, repairs, or extensive troubleshooting. If these services are required a local 3rd party expert is available to contract.

Sale of equipment must adhere to the following

Equipment to be transferred out of ColoHub

Seller must provide communication to buyer with ColoHub copied on the communication holding Geneseo Communications harmless with regard to the following

Condition of equipment pre and post shipment

Hashing power of the equipment

A $40 handling/packaging fee will be assessed

Prepaid labels must be provided

No refunds on hosting fees

Transfer of ownership for hosting to remain at ColoHub

Seller must provide buyer information

Buyer must commit and enter into an agreement for a full 12 months of hosting
